Phosphoric acid
Phosphoric acid or orthophosphoric acid, is a common inorganic acid, is a medium-strong acid, the chemical formula is H3PO4, and the molecular weight is 97.994. It is not easily volatile, not easily decomposed, and has almost no oxidizing properties. Orthophosphoric acid is obtained by treating apatite with sulfuric acid in industry. Phosphoric acid is easily deliquescent in the air. Heating will lose water to obtain pyrophosphoric acid, and then further lose water to obtain metaphosphoric acid. Phosphoric acid is mainly used in pharmaceutical, food, fertilizer and other industries, including as a rust inhibitor, food additive, dental and orthopedic surgery, EDIC corrosive agent, electrolyte, flux, dispersant, industrial corrosive agent, fertilizer raw material and component household cleaning products.
