TH 0480  is a  time  constant resistance standard, nominal resistance 1Ω, nominal output voltage 1V. It has  good AC/DC difference and phase displacement  index . The time constant calibration uncertainty can reach 0.1ns.

Resistance time constant standard is a standardized method of measuring the time constant of a circuit that consists of only a resistor and a capacitor in series. The time constant is the amount of time it takes for the voltage across the capacitor to reach 63.2% of its final value when the capacitor is charging or discharging through the resistor. The resistance time constant standard is used to determine if an unknown capacitor has the correct capacitance value by comparing its time constant measurement to a known standard.
