Description:
Hawthorn extract is a brown-yellow powder with a protect heart effect. Hawthorn perennial deciduous small tree, 3~6 meters high. Bark grayish brown, much branched, prickly. Leaves alternate or clustered on short branches, petiolate, leaf blade broadly ovate or triangular-ovate, 5 -- 10 cm long and 4 -- 6 cm wide, 3 -- 5 pinnately lobed on both sides, apex acuminate, base broadly cuneate, margin Chemicalbook margin sharply double serrate, short hairs on both veins. Flowers 10 to 12 corymbose; Sepals 5, green; Corolla white, petals 5; Carpel 5, lower ovary. Pome globose, 10 -- 15 mm in diam., dark red, with grayish white spots. Flowering from May to June, fruiting from September to October.
